P Chau Pulled Pork

P Chau Pulled Pork

 

 

 It's a secret so give me a couple of hundred dollars and I will personally come to your house and make this for you. But if that is to expensive you can make famous P Chau pulled pork by doing the following steps.

 

What you will need to purchase if you don't have these items at your house already

 

4 to 5 pound pork shoulder

pepper corns

onions

beef stock

bbq sauce

 

other items

chips

buns

pickles

coleslaw

condiments

 

 

 

 

 

1. select and and purchase a pork shoulder. I get mine from Sam's club but if your not a member any shoulder will do 4 to 5 pounds usaually

 

2. there are a few other items you will need to get while at the store. 1 lg onion, 2 lg cans beef stock, peppercorns, and your favorite bbq sauce I like sweet baby rays but any will do.

 

3. bring this wonderful array of goodies home and find your trusty 5qt crock pot .

 

4. unpackage your meat and place inside of your crock pot

 

5. cut up your onions to your preference  i like to slice mine in nice thin half moon shapes because I can. add to crock pot

 

6. add about tablespoon of peppercorns or you can leave them out.

 

7. now add your beef stock start with the first can and see if that will cover the shoulder fully if not open the second and add until it covers the entire shoulder.

 

8. now cover and set your crock pot to low and leave it alone for 10 to 12 hours. by the way this step works great done right before bed or before you leave to work.

 

9. now that the time has past and you are drooling because of the wonderful aroma coming from your kitchen you will need to remove the shoulder from the crock pot. i use a lg metal spatula and a cookie sheet to place the shoulder on. depending if you had a should with bone in or boneless you will need to remove the bone.

 

10. now i usually keep the remains of the juice and onions and other goodies from the crock pot to make a gravy but you do what you want with the juice.

 

11. now that the crock is empty place the shoulder back into the crock pot grab two forks and begin so pull the meat apart once it's all shredded add your bbq sauce until you get all the meat covered in sauce. I usually do a light sauce and if you desire a little more add some when it's on the bun. You can always add more but you cant take it away.

 

12. You are ready to serve. P Chau Pulled Pork

 

This is the last step and it's very important that you do this. Taste your pulled pork and if you don't like it don't serve it to any one else and you should have just forked over the couple hundred dollars and had me come up and  make it for you. Besides you wanted to see me anyways i bring women.  Enjoy
