Remove Stains from Pyrex
To get clean Pyrex, cookie sheets, pie plates, pots & pan exteriors, etc of the baked on hard brown stuff that doesn't come off w/ regular soap & water or in the dishwasher:
Make a paste of baking soda and water. Apply with a plastic scrubby. Remix & reapply liberally.
The mild abrasive will not scratch Pyrex or damage the 'non-stick' -ability'. Easy and economical way to restore to almost new appearance.

Order flowers online
Forget using FTD.com and 1800Flowers.com.
FTD can't get over it's bad self, and with 1800flowers you have to take out home equity line of credit to buy anything nice.
Instead:
Sign up on FTD.com, BUT go immediately to the upper right-hand corner "Find a florist".
They will put you on a page that allows you to search by zip code for a local florist. Much better faster and more personal.
Pick up Spilled Coins
This is weird, but it works. If you have a bunch of coins on the floor, they will stick to the bottom of your foot, just long enough to transfer them from the floor to a small plate or saucer on the floor. Step on the coins on the ball of your foot. Transfer quickly. When your done just pick up the saucer.
Sharpen Knives and Scissors
The bottom of a tea or coffee cup usually has a ridge that the glazing did not cover. Knives and scissors can be sharpened when you draw the cutting edge quickly over this rough surface.
