It's a wiki. Think of it as a sort of "Quaker Instant Web Site" Anyone in the group can create pages, correct existing pages, comment on pages, etc. You find or make a page, you click "Edit" at the top. You type. You hit save. Tada! it's a web page for the group.
(Or just send it to me, and I'll do it for you).
Why:
Well, I figure we are what could be considered the very rarest of creatures - a family whose members actually enjoy each other's company ("Oh my God - there they are! Harvey! Take a picture, quick!") Problem is that we're so far flung. Ten people in seven cities. Email's a great way to stay in touch but it's nice to have pictures to share, a common calendar. A place to jot gift lists, holiday plans etc. Remember HoodSchtuff? It went bye-bye. Here is the replacement.
